Y.A.W.S
The Yorkshire Animal Welfare Society
We at the Yorkshire Animal Welfare Society are raising reserves for supporting animal welfare, and helping us to rescue the sick, injured animals most in need. We also accept that the biggest threat to the health of wild animals is habitat loss and human action, this drives wildlife interactions with people that the animals always suffer.
conserving these species has to start with protecting and repairing the environment that they need to stay healthy and helps them cope better with the challenges arising from human activity.

Working hard for
the Environment
Our mission is to work
together for the community
Please do bear in mind when calling us that we are a rescue run entirely by dedicated volunteers, while we will try our best to collect the animal from you,
we may not have a volunteer available, and collection may not be possible.
In this case, we will direct you to your nearest Y.A.W.S volunteer or take to your nearest vet.
If we do collect the animal from you this together with associated vet/medication costs the rescue substantial funds to provide this service.
Please do consider donating towards the costs incurred by your request. we run entirely from kind donations from people like you and personal funds of the team.
Thank you, team Y.A.W.S.
Call us if you see a sick or injured animal, we provide a rescue and rehabilitation service primarily in West Yorkshire.
We do not believe it's ok in keeping wild disabled animals from adults if they can't be returned to the wild, but as with everything in animal rescue,
no two circumstances are the same, and decisions are made on the needs of the individual animal.
Working together to secure a better future for all
