A terrified little pygmy goat causes havoc last weekend on the A6036 at Low moor

***Another Successful YAWS Rescue***

Calls came in to the Rescue last Friday asking for help for this little goat. People, with best intentions had been chasing her for hours, but she was clearly terrified of humans.

Dedicated YAWS volunteers never gave up on her and spend three hours in the rain slowly gaining this girls trust and eventually caught her.

She was taken to Hazel Farm, where, after seven days she hadn't been claimed, she was adopted.

Her confidence is improving in leaps and bounds - literally!, and she even has two other goats to play with who are now her best buddies.

This little lady has certainly landed on her hooves - and all at YAWS is wishing her a long and happy life.

Please be aware when asking for assistance with livestock that it is illegal to move an animal listed as requiring a movement order and once at its destination also requires quarantine with no further movement for 21 days.
